Karen R. Boyd has over 20 years of experience in property management. She is currently the Assistant General Manager of Arboretum Lakes, a 5-building, Class A 810,000 square foot award winning office complex located in Lisle, IL.   She is responsible for assisting in the management of the day to day operations of the complex as well as managing the construction and finances of the property.  

 

Prior to joining Millbrook in February, 2017, Karen worked for Younan Properties Incorporated for over 10 years. In her management roles throughout her real estate career, Karen has successfully managed over $5 million worth of tenant and capital improvement projects.  She is also skilled in due diligence acquisition, has strong administrative skills, a deep knowledge of contracts, property accounting, lease administration and budget preparation.    

 

Karen is a member of BOMA Suburban Chicago where she serves on the Education Committee and is currently working toward receiving her broker’s license and her RPA designation.   She enjoys spending time with family, singing, traveling and attending, plays, concerts and sporting events.
